About This Product:
Dick Johnson Racing is without doubt one of the most iconic teams in Australian motorsport and at the Repco Bathurst 1000 in 2022, the team celebrates their 1000th championship race start.
In doing so, DJR becomes the first team in ATCC/Supercars history to achieve the incredible feat - and what better place to celebrate the milestone than at the famous Mount Panorama circuit, which holds such a significant place in the history of the team.
Officially established in 1980 and entered in their first Australian Touring Car Championship race at Symmons Plains in Tasmania in 1981 where Dick Johnson raced his legendary Tru-Blu XD Falcon, the team has remained a constant in Australia's main game of motorsport ever since.
In the hearts and minds of a legion of passionate fans, DJR are Australia's Ford team. They have raced a variety of iconic Falcons, Sierras and Mustangs with some of the the biggest names in motorsport behind the wheel, taking out 10 drivers' championships and a horde of race wins, pole positions and podium finishes along the way. And of course, 4 legendary Bathurst 1000 victories.
Authentic Collectables, in exclusive partnership with Dick Johnson Racing are incredibly proud to present this celebration Ford Mustang GT model commemorating the milestone.
Featuring a bespoke 1000 races livery, this model features a variety of nods to the team's past and present and simply looks incredible. From the gold wheels to the stunning blue and white colour scheme to various statistics and important dates incorporated into the design along with some other little surprises featured on and inside the model, this is a special fan collectable celebrating a tremendous milestone for the team.
The model design also acknowledges the long standing relationship Dick Johnson Racing has with Ford, having raced a Ford product in every single one of their 1000 championship races.
Don’t miss this 1:18 scale model which is scheduled to be produced by Authentic Collectables in high quality die-cast with detailed interior and fully opening parts in a numbered limited edition.
Adding to the value of this collectable will be a signed Certificate of Authenticity by legendary Supercars Hall of Fame driver and DJR founder Dick Johnson AM and Team Executive Chairman Dr. Ryan Story AM, the man who helped turn the team into the modern powerhouse it is today.
With the Certificate of Authenticity, a matching numbered A5 size mini print artwork by respected designer / illustrator Tristan Groves, who designed both the livery featured on this model and the modern interpretation of the real livery raced by DJR / Shell V-Power Racing Team at the 2022 Repco Bathurst 1000, will also be included with this model.

We deliver Australia-wide, using a range of couriers such as Sendle, Australia Post, and All Regions Logistics/Wizz. We will always choose the cheapest option, which will depend on which item you buy and where you live.
Generally, delivery takes 2-5 business days, but this does depend on which day you place the order (eg. weekend or public holiday), and how far you are from our stores in Northern NSW. Once the item leaves our store, we will arrange for the courier to send you a tracking email so you can follow the package all the way to your front door.
Please remember these are independent couriers who only generally deliver Monday-Friday during business hours. You'll have to make arrangements directly with them if you can't be home on the day of delivery, or if you want to make other arrangements.
If you live locally and you need an item urgently, you could consider our Click & Collect service, which is free in between our three stores in Lismore, Byron Bay and Ballina.
